Blogpost 2: Traditions(myths and arts) in the Reality

Some of us believe that many of our believes is classified in our mythological theories or based on arts(about mermaids).Many of our grandparents or parents rather say that this would our traditions and we have to follow all those believes because nothing will happen. But all of you would classify to scientific studies rather than old traditions. Every day somethings change but we all don't want to allow because we want to stay in our traditional places but we as a human can't stop changes.

I read an article about mermaids entitled "Mermaids in Myth and Art" by Gail-Nina Anderson the site was www.forteantimes.com states that mermaids are not been used in stories or books but can be seen in ballad with characters and in various paintings or bestiaries.


Traditions to our countries was a part of  daily life. Some countries in the European part including French, Italian and Spanish, the word "mermaid" is derivative of "siren" while "dugongs" and manatees are sea-mammals that  is behind from mermaid sightings belongs to the order of Sirenia. There was where say that they heard mermaids while singing in Odyssey , where Odysseus was once heard seductive song that causes his sailors to jump-off to the sea. There would be some in medieval bestiaries, the Sirens is listed as their classical origins who likely to be shown as a mermaids. Some memorable of like a siren was when in a famous story A Midsummer Night's 



Dream was when Oberon the king of fairies said 
that he remembers a mermaid who rides a dolphins back and sings so sweetly that stars shoot from their spheres to her when they hear her. There would be in a 19-century romanticism called the "Lore Lay" in ballad of 1802 by Clemens von Brentano, the story tells about a girl who betrayed in love and transformed to a sorceress. Brentano presents her as a guardian spirit of the rock, a beautiful fairy.

Most arts and myths is about our history their would some part that they state of a mermaids that actually exist and seen and heard of it. 

Mermaids in the other  hand is a mysterious kind of creature and many of would just rather that they are useless of time but until the time you know about them little by little there would be some ideas that will be made on your mind . Mermaids will makes our minds think about some ideas that we will never thought who will be affected.


The article I've read is "From Mermaids to Manatees: the Myth and the Reality" by Caty Fairclough and the site was www.ocean.si.edu states that mermaids affects our lives not just our 
culture(myths and arts) but can also affects others.

They would be different Kings and Gods in different kind of country and believes but many in the part of Mesopotamian mythology an ancient Babylonian God. He a first to recognized a half-human and a half-fish creature. Their would be some vicious personality of a mermaid in a movie J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. Mermaids would be enough attention and affection who scientically not real... how would their real double( dugongs and manatees) who is struggling to survive because of their extinction hasn't enough attention for that.

Because of how you are willing to know for that things that is circling our minds their would be times that those things which you don't think of having enough attention would be the one will suffer a lot or maybe worse. This time lets make sure that pursuasive enough would make us regret the whole time.

Blogpost 1: Mermaids in our culture

Most of us think that there are no mythical creatures would really exist in this world. But maybe there would  be that times that you or we thought that this world is such a mystery. There are places in this world that was not been discovered by humans like lands speacially the sea. Sea is nearly three-quarters of the Earth was not been discovered by many of us. Mermaids are one of the mythical creatures that has been fascinated us because of their mysterious place under the sea. We would probably wonder that if there are really merfolks(mermaids and mermen) their would be some evidences that has never be seen by the human eye that would make us believe that they are really exist.

The article I've read for the new evidences of mermaids" Mermaids do not exist, says NOAA," by Bailey Johnson the site was www.cbsnews.com states that all of Paul Robertson was all a lie because of conspiracy of theory and all faked.

According to Paul Robertson who is a former employee of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ( NOAA) their was a tape that has been called "the bloop" about the sounded like a new species. been studying the bloop that they've got and the SONAR weapon they talk from the whales, and discovered that the sond of whales and dolphins somehow mixed with another type of species. For they know what kind of species is that they went South Africa where they tracked similar sounds. After that studying they assumed that it is a mermaid that they've been found in South Africa but unfortunately was been confiscated the US Government.

"Though the filmmakers acknowledged that the film is science fiction, for many people it was indeed 'wildly convincing.'' said Bailey Johnson

Convincing people to believe on something that they believe was not exist in this world needs a very specific evidence/s to prove that they are not the only living things live in this world. People may seem to acknowledge all the facts professionals gathered but they will believe it if they saw real creatures(merfolks)

All of us has our own basis to believe or not to believe of such 

things that has never been seen by our own eyes. there is a lot things to prove that what you see is to believe but eventually no one wants to support you because your lack evidences that proved that their is really a mermaid. But if you really want to proved to them that you are right your going to need studied hard unless you give because your gathered data is not enough. Remember this world has not been all ready explored by human or us...their would be out their somewhere that is not been recognized by human maybe a new different species of animals, plants etc.that make a perceptions misinterpret.

Many of us would rather think that the Mermaids aren't because of what our parents or Grandparents told us in their stories.But all of us most believe that merfolks does really exist and can compare themselves to the lives for creatures that is not probably exist. I read the article of " Mermaids & Merman: Facts & Legends" by Benjamin Bradford from the site www.livescience.com they've been used some references and the experiences of the people who said that they saw a mermaid exist.

Merfolks has been one of the stories or believes that are grandparents and parents has. Humanoid creatures has been existed 2000 B.C through seals, paintings, and sculptures. They've been actually believe in that era that they had a ruler who has a beard with a crown and a body like man but his waist then downward was covered with scales and a tail. Also contains stories whom they called God Triton or King Triton of the Sea, the merman messenger of the Sea.

Mr. Benjamin Bradford said "They don't look exactly like a typical mermaid or merman, of course, but many sightings were from quite a distance away, and being mostly submerged in water and waves only parts of their bodies were visible".

Being judge by anyone is hard to accept because they don't believe in you because your ideas are very hard to believe. They are just some fantasies and mythological creatures but in someway you must understand because they maybe want you to stop is because they only want positive feedbacks to other that can maybe affect your work or status in life.
